ReachLocal Targets Back Office Operations

Woodland Hills-based ReachLocal, which provides online marketing services for local businesses, is further expanding the breadth of its business today, saying it has launched a new back-end office operations management product. The company said it has released a beta of a product called ReachCommerce, which lets home service merchants digitize their back office operations. ReachLocal said the new software lets merchants handle appointments and calendering, digital estimates, and payment processing, via a iPad provided to field technicians. ReachLocal said the software also includes fleet management technology for coordinating schedules, optimizing which technicians to deploy to a job, and much more.
