ShareSquare Inks Deal With The Orchard

Los Angeles-based ShareSquare, the provider of QR code generation software and related mobile applications, has inked a deal with The Orchard, the independent music and video marketing and distribution firm. According to the two, they have partnered to deliver QR social discovery experiences. Financial details of the partnership were not announced. ShareSquare was founded by Matthias Galica. ShareSquare's service allows bands, brands, and others to create QR codes, 2D barcodes. Those barcodes can be easily scanned by iPhone, Android, and other smartphones, to link users directly to HTML5 mobile apps and information.
