SiliconSystems Introduces Product Line

Aliso Viejo-based SiliconSystems, a startup developing storage based on solid state non-volatile memory, announced the company's SiliconDrive technology and product line. The company's new SiliconDrive family of products feature solid-state disks with a capacity of 128MB to 8GB, with support for PC card and other drive interfaces. The company is targeting the product at network systems, the military, avionics, industrial control, and medical eqiupment. SiliconSystems is backed by Miramar Venture Partners.
