Slacker Launches Online Radio Site

San Diego-based Slacker, an online radio startup backed by Sevin Rosen, Austin Ventures, and Mission Ventures, has launched a beta of the firm's site today. The firm, which provides personal music radio stations available via the Internet and satellite, offers both free and premium versions of the service. The firm is headed by Dennis Mudd, former CEO of MusicMatch. According to reports in TechCrunch, the company has raised $13.5M in venture capital.
