Solarflare Names New Sales VP

Irvine-based Solarflare Communications announced this morning that it has hired Sean Keohane as its new Vice President of Sales. Keohane joins from Aquantia, where he was VP of Worldwide Sales; he has also served at National Semiconductor, Allied Telesyn, Accton Technology Corporation, and SMC Networks. Solarflare, which develops 10 Gigabit Etherent semiconductors, said that Keohane will focus on distribution channels as well as switch and server vendors.
