Sony Pictures Entertainment Gets Massive EV Charging Install

Have an electric vehicle, but always fighting for a charging station at work? It might be time to get a job over at Sony Pictures Entertainment, which apparently has installed the largest, corporate deployment of charging stations in Southern California. NRG eVgo, the unit of NRG Energy which installs electric vehicle charging stations, says that it has installed and will manage 60 charging stations at Sony Pictures Entertainment. The charging stations are spread across the studio's lot and offices in Culver City. The level 2 chargers are apparently compatible with all EVs, and are dedicated for the user of individual employees. Sony Pictures Entertainment apparently also gives incentives to employees to purchase hybrid, plug-in hybrid electric or electric vehicles; the company apparently has calculated that there are a daily average of 90 electric and plug-in-hybrids at its headquarters on any day.
