Teledyne Names New COO

Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne said today that it has named Al Pichelli as its Chief Operating Officer. Pichelli was already at Teledyne, serving as Executive Vice President, and had headed up its Instrumentation and Aerospace and Defense Electronics business. He now will also head up the company's Digital Imaging and Engineered Systems segments. Pichelli replaces Rex Geveden, who the company says has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Teledyne said Pichelli has been an employee of Teledyne for more than 35 years.
