Tensorcom Gets Wi-Fi Alliance Certification

San Diego-based Tensorcom, a developer of ultra low power 802.11ad WiGig semiconductors--which is backed by NantWorks and LA biotech billionaire Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong--said this week that it has certified its products under the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED WiGig certification. Tensorcom certified its TC60G1316UE System-In-Package (SIP), a systems-on-a-chip which brings gigabit wireless connectivity to low power devices. The company says its systems-on-a-chip product is aimed at use in embedded devices, accessories, and portable products.
