TriZetto Acquires Quality Care Solutions

Newport Beach-based TriZetto Group announced this morning that it is acquiring Phoenix, Arizona-based Quality Care Soultions (QCSI). Both firms provide software and information technology for the healthcare industry. TriZetto said that the combined companies would provide greater scale to accelerate and streamline the company's business. The deal is worth $133M in cash. QCSI had revenues of $56.6M for the trailing twelve months through July 2006. QCSI was backed by Dominion Ventures and other venture firms.
