Two Bit Circus Launches Education Nonprofit

Los Angeles-based Two Bit Circus, the entertainment startup founded by Brent Bushnell, and non-profit T4G.org announced this morning that they have launched the Two Bit Circus Foundation. The Two Bit Circus Foundation said it is designed to cultivate the next generation of inventors, advance environmental stewardship and spur community engagement. T4T.org salvages manufactured goods for use in educational projects, to help in the areas of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) learning. Two Bit Circus has been active in promoting STEAM learning, with many of its educational entertainment-themed activities centered on STEAM principles. As part of the deal, the two said that T4T.org will rebrand as the Two Bit Circus Foundation, and Two Bit Circus will help provide funding, resources, staff, and intellectual property to the effort. T4T has a warehouse full of such materials as plastic color chips, glass tubes, fabric and trim, rubber mats, tiles, tubes, Styrofoam, and much more which can be repurposed for STEAM projects.
