VIZIO Rolls Out Low Cost 4K TVs

Irvine-based Vizio, the manufacturer of flat panel televisions and other electronics, has rolled out a new set of smart TVs, including a 4K enabled, 42-inch smart TV for $420, a 55-inch smart TV for only $590, and $900 for a 65-inch version. The 4K priving on Vizio's new D-Series Smart TVs are substantially lower than the existing 4K television market. VIZIO is offering up the new TVs online, and also through retailers such as Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, and Best Buy. VIZIO's new lineup also includes a significant number of 1080p models; all of the new models support built-in smart television apps and 802.11ac dual band Wi-fi.
