Verari Founder Buys Assets

The founder of defunct Verari Systems, David Driggers, said this week that an investor group he leads has purchased "substantially all" of Verari Systems' corporate and intellectual property assets. The firm--which shut down in December due to lack of capital--developed blade computing and storage technology. No financial details of the acquisition were disclosed. According to Driggers, the firm will re-start this week, focusing on blade-based high-performance computing solutions, modular containerized data centers and blade-based storage development.
