Verdezyne Names CFO

Carlsbad-based Verdezyne, the venture backed producer of renewable chemical and fuels, announced today that it has named a new Chief Financial Officer. Verdezyne said Brian Conn has been named CFO, and Steve Jackson, the firm's current CFO and COO, has been named Chief Operations Officer. Conn was previously CFO of MicroIslet, and also served at Chemicon International and Serologicals Corporation. Jackson has been Veredezyne's COO and CFO since 2008. Verdezyne is venture backed by BP Alternative Energy Ventures, DSM Venturing B.V., OVP Venture Partners and Monitor Ventures.
