Vitesse Gets Design Win In Taiwan

Camarillo-based Vitesse Semiconductor reported a win today, with a Taiwanese electronics manufacturer. Vitesse said that Planet Technology Corporation is using its Ethernet switch technology and software, as part of a smart Ethernet switch. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Vitesse said that Planet Technology is using its SparX and E-StaX Ethernet switch technology and SMBStax software, for a managed Layer 2/Layer 3 Ethernet switch aimed at the SME, Enterprise, and Internet-of-Things market.
