Vitesse Names New Auditors

Camarillo-based Vitesse Semiconductor announced that it has appointed BDO Seidman, LLP as its new, independent registered public accounting firm. Vitesse said that BDO Seidman will audit its financial statements for the fiscal years 2006 and 2007. Vitesse has been struggling to resolve its financial state after a delisting by Nasdaq, investigation by the SEC, and earnings restatements. The firm designs high performance semiconductors for the storage and communications markets.
