WCSN In Deal To Webcast Boston Marathon

Los Angeles-based World Championship Sports Network (WCSN), a venture backed firm providing sports programming and live event coverage, said Monday that the firm will webcast the 112th Boston Marathon. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to WCSN, the entire marathon wlil be available online, as part of the firm's $4.95 per month Marathon coverage. WCSN is venture backed by Intermedia Partners, a private equity firm that invests in media content providers. WCSN also has deals with Major League Baseball Advanced Media, LP (MLBAM) and other sports leagues.
