Wavien Powers LED Projector

Valencia-based Wavien, a developer of LED light projector technology, said today that its light engines are being used by AAXA Technologies in a new projector. Wavien said the 1,000 lumen projector provides greater brightness than other LED projectors, and has a lifetime of 25,000 hours. The firm is aiming its technology at home theater projectors, and small classroom and conference rooms. Wavien is looking to tackle the issues with projection display bulbs, which typically only last 1000 to 2000 hours. Wavien is headed by Kenneth Li.
