Websense Names New CFO, Sales VP

San Diego-based WebSense, a developer of email and web security products, announced Tuesday afternoon that it has appointed Arthur S. Locke as its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and appointed Didier Guibal as its Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Locke replaces Doug Wride, who the firm said will remain as Chief Operating Officer of the firm at least through the end of 2009. The firm said that Wride will be handing off the rest of his operational responsibilities sometime in the first half of 2010. Locke was most recently EVP and CFO at MicroStrategy, and also served at EIS International and Biospherics; Guibal was most recently President of Panda Security, and has also served at McAfee and RightNow.
