Yellowpages.com Revamps Site

AT&T's Glendale-based online YellowPages.com unit said today that it has revamped its site, as YP.com. The firm said it has modified its site to a new, image-based layout highlighting local companies. YP.com, which is a unit of AT&T Interactive, formerly featured a fairly nondescript, search box allowing users to type in the name of businesses or category of businesses to search for. The new site also offers similar features, but also includes scrolling articles highlighting local hotels, restaurants, and other local businesses complete with photos and graphics. The firm said "changing the front door" to the site puts a new face to its products and brand.
