Zaadz Acquired By Gaiam

Los Angeles-based Zaadz has been acquired by Colorado-based Gaiam, the firms said last week. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Zaadz, an online web site focused on self-empowerment, was founded by Brian Johnson, former founder of amateur sports team site eteamz.com. Gaiam announced the acquisition as part of the launch of a new web site focused on health, sustainability, and conscious enlightenment.
