    Conexant, Tandberg Team on MPEG-4 Video Coding


    Newport Beach-based Conexant and Tandberg Television said that the two companies have completed MPEG-4 interoperability testing. The two companies have verified that Conexant's CX2418X family of decoders are interoperable with Tandberg's MPEG-4 AVC high definition real time broadcast encoders. Tandberg is a developer of video compression systems. Conexant's devices are MPEG-4 Part 10 compatible, and supports broadcast formats and resolutions of up to 1920x1080
