    Acacia Gets Stamps.com
    Newport Beach-based patent and intellectual property licensing firm Acacia Technologies said today that VData LLC, its subsidiary, has entered into a license with Santa Monica-based Stamps.com to license a portfolio of patents. Acacia said that the patents cover multi-dimensional bar codes. The licensing agreement resolves a patent infringement lawsuit the firm had against Stamps in Minnesota. Acacia is a patent and IP firm that is acquiring patents and aggressively pursuing corporations to license those patents.
