Newport Beach-based Acacia Research, the patent licensing firm, said earlier this week that it has added William S. Anderson to its board of directors. Anderson is Chairman and CEO of National Beverage Properties, Inc., and is the former EVP of Topa Equities, Ltd. Anderson has also served at O'Melveny & Myers. Acacia acquires patents and licenses those patents to other companies across a wide range of industries.
