Accenture, National Water and Power In Outsourcing Deal

Irvine-based National Water and Power (NWP) Services announced this morning that it has signed a 10-year outsourcing contract with Accenture. Accenture will provide NWP with information technology, applications management and development services, including software development and maintenance of NWP's customer care and billing information functions. Accenture will also purchase the Open-cIS billing and customer care software system developed by NWP for customer care and billing of apartment residents for utilities. The companies said that Accenture will take over all maintenance, development, and support for the system for all of NWP's existing Open-cIS customers. Terms were not disclosed.
