San Diego-based Active.com, the flagship site of Active Network, said Wednesday that it has linked with espnW, ESPN's online site aimed at female athletes. Active.com said that espnW has joined its online affiliate program, and partnered to promote Active.com's Trainer product via espnW. Active.coms Trainer software lets users plan, log, and share training plans and fitness activities. Financial details of the deal between the firms was not disclosed.
