Santa Monica-based Activision Blizzard is bolstering its efforts in the growing esports arena, saying it has named three sports veterans--Daniel Cherry as Chief Marketing Officer, Marc Kolin as Vice President of Finance and Strategy, and Brandon Snow as Chief Revenue Officer, all in an effort to boost its Activision Blizzard Esports Leagues. Cherry was most recently Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer for the New Jersey Devils and the Prudential Center. Kolin was at NBC Universal, managing analytics, financial planning and analysis, strategic initiatives, and back-of-house accounting for Universal Studios Hollywood Theme Park in Los Angeles; he also had worked for the National Football League and the National Basketball Association. Snow was most recently Senior Vice President of Team Marketing & Business Operations from the National Basketball Association, focused on the NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League teams.
