Los Angeles-based Twitter advertising startup Ad.ly has just launched a new Twitter analytics product, the firm said Thursday afternoon, which allows Twitter users to see statistics on their account. According to Ad.ly, the new Ad.ly Analytics services allows users to see how many engaged followers a user has, audience gender, location, and other information. The new service is part of an effort by the firm to provide publishers with more information on their audiences on the Twitter micro messaging site. Ad.ly said the new analytics service is powered by Peoplebrowsr. Ad.ly is funded by GRP Ventures.
