Advanced BioHealing Adds $4.5M To Series C

La Jolla-based Advanced Biohealing, which is developing a treatment for full-thickness diabetic foot ulcers, said Thursday that it has raised an additional $4.5M in its Series C round. The additional capital came from Safeguard Scientifics and CDIB BioScience Ventures. The new funding brings the total raised in the firm's Series C to $30M. The initial tranche of the Series C was announced in February. The company's total raised is now over $40M. More information »
