    Aerovironment Prices IPO


    Monrovia-based AeroVironment said last night that it has priced its IPO at $17 per share, above the firm's original range of $14 to $16 per share, and that the firm's stock will begin trading on the Nasdaq today. AeroVironment develops unmanned aerial vehicles for the military, along with other products. AeroVironment will trade under the symbol "AVAV" in the IPO, which is being underwritten by Goldman, Sachs & Co., Friedman Billings Ramsey, Jefferies Quarterdeck, Raymond James, Stifel Nicolaus, and Thomas Weisel Partners
