Air-Trak Opens GPS Web Services API
San Diego-based Air-Trak announced this morning that it has released a Web Services API which allows software developers and customers to easily integrate their applications with the Air-Trak GPS tracking and communications system. Air-Trak said that customers are using the API to integrate with GIS (Geographic Information System) products such as ESRI's ArcMAP software, track petroleum industry shipments, and newspaper delivery dispatch. The XML-based Web Services standards provide an Internet-based applications programming interface which can easily be incorporated into software. Air-Trak provides GPS tracking and communications systems.
