Airgain Gets $4.1M
Carlsbad-based Airgain, a developer of smart antennas for the WLAN market, has raised $4.1M in venture capital, the firm said this week. Airgain received the funding from Northwater Capital, via the Northwater Intellectual Property Fund and GEN3 Capital Fund. Airgain said that the funding brings its total capital raised to $10.9M. Airgain is developing smart antennas for WLAN routers and access points. The firm's research arm is based in St. Petersburg, Russia.
