    Akonix, Jabber Partner On API
    San Diego-based Akonix has partnered with Denver-based Jabber to connect the company's products. The two companies said today that the Akonix instant messaging security appliance will connect with Jabber's content filtering components. The two firms are targeting Wall Street and federal government customers with the ability to provide real-time, content filtering and compliance checks of instant messaging conversations. Jabber provides instant messaging software and Akonix is a developer of instant messaging security firewalls.
