Akonix, FrontBridge In Email Compliance Partnership

San Diego-based Akonix announced today that it has partnered with FrontBridge Technologies to offer an integrated, hosted, archiving and compliance solution for both email and instant messaging. Akonix said that its customers, particularly among the financial services industry, were looking for a management system to add instant messaging archives to email archives. The partnership now allows adding IM archives to archives stored and managed by FrontBridge. Akonix provides instant messaging archiving and control products; FrontBridge provides email management and security services.
