    Akonix Announces Microsoft Messaging Support
    San Diego-based instant messaging management software provider Akonix (www.akonix.com) announced that it will support Microsoft's new Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004 when it is release next year. Akonix will be able to filter instant messaging traffic routed through the Microsoft instant messaging server product. Akonix is developing instant messaging filters and firewalls, and is backed by Menlo Ventures, Mission Ventures, Palomar Ventures, and Windward Ventures.
