The new version provides support for instant messaging (IM) and peer-to-peer file sharing networks. The company's solution prevents unauthorized access to instant messaging and peer to peer solutions. Akonix investors include Menlo Ventures, Mission Ventures, Palomar Ventures, and Windward Ventures.
