Los Angeles-based Alelo, a spinoff of the University of Southern California providing language training software for the military, said Monday that it has released a version of its software for Afghan language and culture. The firm said that its Tactical Pashto Language & Culture Training System has been released to the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, where it will be used to teach communication and cultural sensitivity to the military.
