    Alignent Lands $6M Series A Funding


    Irvine-based Alignent Software is expected to announced today that it has raised $6M in Series A funding from Horizon Ventures and Mission Ventures. Alignent, a developer of enterprise strategic product planning software, is planning on using the new funding to accelerate the company's product development and growth. John Hall, Managing Director of Horizon, and Robert Kibble, Managing Partner of Mission, are joining Alignent's board of directors as part of the deal. Alignent's software is used to manage a company's R&D efforts, including project roadmaps, technology planning, and more.
