Altair Therapeutics Raises $17M

San Diego-based Altair Therapeutics said Wednesday afternoon that it has raised $17M in a financing round. According to the firm, the round was led by Domain Associates, and also included AgeChem Venture Fund; Thomas, McNerney & Partners; Forward Ventures; and Isis Pharmaceuticals. The firm said the funding will go to complete phase 2a trials on its lead product, which is being targeted at treating asthma, allergic rhinitis, and other inflammatory disorders. More information »
