    AltaSens Gets Win At Tandberg


    Thousand Oaks-based AltaSense, a manufacturer of CMOS image sensors, said today that Tandberg is deploying the company's MOS sensors in its PrecisionHD cameras. The chip will be used in Tandberg's group of HD video systems, used for videoconfercing and meetings. AltaSens said that Tandberg will use its ProCamHD 2462 sensor, a high resolution, 1.3 megapixel sensor for providing progressive digital video as 1280 by 720 resolution. Altasense is a spinoff of Rockwell Scientific.
