    Alure Medical Raises $4.5M For Medical Devices


    San Diego-based Alure Medical has raised $4.5M in a Series A investment, the firm said today, for its minimally-invasive, soft tissue lift devices and delivery systems. The company's medical devices are used for platic surgery. Investors in the firm included EDF Ventures and others. As part of the funding, Alure Medical said that it has added France Dixon Helfer as President and CEO of the company. The funding will go towards development and launch of its products.
