Ambry Genetics Buys Progeny Software

Aliso Viejo-based Ambry Genetics has acquired Progeny Software, a developer of software to manage genetic data. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Ambry said it will integrate Progeny's software into its own, laboratory management systems. Progeny becomes a subsidiary of Ambry, and continues to be led by CEo Michael Brammer. Ambry is led by Charles Dunlop.
