AMCC Adds EMC VP To Board
San Diego-based Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (AMCC) announced that it has added David B. Wright to its board of directors. Wright is EVP, Office of the CEO, Strategic Alliances and Global Accounts for data storage giant EMC. Wright joined EMC when the company acquired Legato Systems, where he was President and CEO. Wright is also on th eboard of VA Software and Aspect Communications. AMCC develops semiconductors and products for the storage industry.
