    AMCC Moves Headquarters To Sunnyvale

San Diego-based Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (AMCC) said yesterday that it has moved its corporate headquarters from San Diego to Silicon Valley. The company said that its headquarters has moved to its existing Sunnyvale offices, and which will become it's principal executive office. CEO Kambiz Hooshmand said in a statement that the move was a result of the addition of several Silicon Valley executives to the management team. The company said that it does not plan to move its San Diego-based functions or facilities as part of the headquarters change. AMCC is a provider of chips and technology for the networking, embedded, and storage market.
