    Amp'd Mobile Ties Into Hollywood

Los Angeles-based cellular phone provider Amp'd Mobile this morning said that it is in a series of collaborations with Hollywood producers to provide original content for its users. The MVNO said that it has signed Bunim Murray, creater of MTV's Real World and The Simple Life, Donick Cary, a writer and producer who has produced The Simpsons and Just Shoot Me and was head writer of the Late Night with David Letterman, Quincy Jones' QD3 Productions, and LivePlanet. The collaborations include reality show content and blogs with Murray; animated and scripted programs with Cary; documentaries from QD3; and location-based mobile games from LivePlanet. Amp'd is developing a youth-focused, specialized mobile phone carrier, and officially launched its services last week.
