AnsibleWorks Raises $6M For IT Automation Tools

Santa Barbara-based AnsibleWorks announced today that it has raised $6M in a Series A round, to go towards the company's open source, IT automation tools. The funding was led by Menlo Ventures. AnsibleWorks was founded by Michael DeHaan, and develops software used for automating IT operations. The company's CEO is Said Ziouani. Ansible said the funding will go towards product development, sales, and other initiatives. Ziouani was most recently VP, Vertical Markets at Red Hat; DeHaan was previously also part of Red Hat, as part of the open source company's Emerging Technologies Group. More information »
