AOL Signs Deals With Broadband Providers

America Online announced today that the firm has signed a deal with broadband network providers BellSouth, Time Warner Cable, and Verizon to offer its services over DSL. The Internet Services provider has been facing huge outflows from its service as consumers have moved to broadband cable and DSL connections, and the move allows its customers to get broadband service for as low as $25.90 per month. AOL said that it will begin to aggressively market its high speed service offering, starting today. It said that it will begin to push its existing members to upgrade from dial-up to high speed service.
