    Apani Raises $16M


    Brea-based IPsec security firm Apani Networks has raised a $16M second round of funding. The firm, which is developing VPN clients for IPsec environments and IT security solutions, said that the funding came from Unicharm Corporation in Tokyo Japan. Apani will use the funding for working capital and to expand. Apani's centralized security management solution provides network access control and point to point encryption targeted at the enterprise.
