    Apani Rolls Out Cisco Support

Brea-based Apani Networks is rolling out Cisco VPN clients for Cisco 3000 VPN gateways. The company said that its new software allows users of the Dell Axim, HP iPaq, and other Windows-based handhelds to access corporate networks over 802.11 and GPRS connections. Apani develops third party VPN clients for mobile computing devices, used to allow users to connect to virtual private networks. VPNs are typically used by companies to allow for remote connections by workers to an internal network.
