The team behind Los Angeles-based DemoPit.com, an online site reviewing new startups, has launched a new, Digg-inspired site focused on user-submitted startup news. According to John Diep of DemoPit.com, the site has just launched AppBuzz.com, a site which allows any startup to submit their own startup news, ideas, and tips. The new site uses the open source Plugg content management system.
