Los Angeles-based Aqua Connect, a developer of terminal servers and remote desktop services software for the Mac OS X platform, said Thursday that it has filed a lawsuit against Code Rebel, LLC, alleging misappropriation of its trade secrets. According to Aqua Connect, Code Rebel began distributing a product around June of 2009, iRAPP Terminal Server, which it says was the result of reverse engineering its own software, Aqua Connect Terminal Server. The lawsuit was filed in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles.
